I need to wear my “bridesmaid issue” earrings on Saturday but have unpierced ears. Whats my best option?

I’m going to be a bridesmaid on Saturday, and I just got my outfit dropped off.

The bride’s dad has spent a fortune on everything, and our outfits are no exception.

Although the dresses are rented, he has bought us all matching green hair ribbons and earrings. Unfortunately, while he has paid a lot of attention to the wedding, he hasn’t paid enough attention to the bridesmaids to notice that my ears don’t have holes in them.

They are a ‘dainty’ design (stud post with an emerald and a tiny cluster of tiny diamonds, with 3 tiny chains coming from them with a pearl on each chain) and they would look real naff if I got them converted to clip-on.

Come hell or high water I’ll be wearing them for Sarah’s special day, even if it means forcing them through myself on Saturday morning, so what is the best option?

At the moment, to me the best option seems to be to get my ears pierced tomorrow, however that leaves only four days until the wedding, meaning I’ll be changing them over 5 weeks short of the 6 week ‘healing up’ period, then on Saturday morning scrub my hands, clean my ears and the new earrings thoroughly before changing them, then remove the earrings as soon as I get back from the reception (and either put the original piercing studs back in or leave them to close, depending on whether I decide to keep the piercings).

I’m just wondering if anyone has a better idea?

get them pierced tomorrow, we lit the wedding day and then just go back to the original herd when the marriage is over

Claire has a nice magnetic clip ons and I hope helped

How about take-off and subsequent bonding magnets on the back (such as magnetic earrings);

They clip converters for pierced earrings.

You can usually find at a craft store in the island jewelery. Since marriage is a few days, it will be your best bet.

It is easy to put and turn the earring post in a clip so you can not wear your ears pierced. Good luck!

Honestly just get them pierced tomorrow. Told to leave the original for 6 weeks, but mind watsoever and the sooner u be out sooner if theyll close dont like them should also change them back to the original post if u choose to keep their piercings

just crossed the asap and change them for the day. Would be nice just to be sure to clean well.

I had a similar problem, except I learned two weeks ago.

After several days of uncertainty, I decided the best solution was to go and get my ears pierced.

So I had to do a week before the wedding, and changed the piercing rivets for the other rings in the morning of the ceremony. Yes, say year 6 weeks of healing, but that's how long it takes for the holes to make it permanent.

You can exchange rings before then, but make sure you do not get out.

And later? Decided to keep the piercing, so I put the piercing nails back again for the remaining six weeks.

So my recommendation is to go and get your ears pierced, and then change the day.
